Mike Classic

Mike Classic, born Michael Williams is from the city many rap legends are born, New York. At the raw age of fourteen, the Haitian-American artist uncovered his ability to rap and the spare-time hobby quickly rose to be a central part of his everyday life. As Classic has grown as an artist, his fan base has also shot up exponentially, receiving much respect and appreciation for his music and flavor.

His recently released second mixtape “Where Amazing Happens,” showcases his multifaceted abilities as a rapper and artful depth as a writer. Its success has been exemplified by loyal fans, with over 25,000 downloads during its first few weeks.

Mike’s been gaining the attention of other talent within the industry. His first single “Whole Different Lane” features Bad Boy recording artist French Montana and has been well-received by listeners, gaining airtime on NYC’s Hot 97, Power 105.1, and a featured spot on TheSource.com.

Mixing his high-energy with a subtle confidence on stage, Classic repeatedly delivers striking live performances, evident when he opened for Rick Ross during the MMG tour. He has also been featured as a Break Out Artist on XXL and secured a MTV news appearance, and received placement on the hit show Love and Hip Hop ATL. Mike, who remains modest despite his accomplishments, expresses that “with the ‘Where Amazing Happens’ mixtape I want my new and old fans to feel my sweat and heart in every track.”
